These terms apply when you buy TapeLeader, or download, install or use TapeLeader or its free demo. By doing any of these you accept them.
1. Who we are
TapeLeader is published by WEB 2 IVULCAN, S.L., CIF/VAT B88058862, registered office Calle Olvido 47, 28691 Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid), Spain ("we"). Contact: ivan@tapeleader.com.
2. Who sells it
TapeLeader is sold through Link, the merchant of record service of Stripe ("Link"). Link takes the payment, charges the taxes that apply where you live, and sends your receipt and invoice. Your statement shows the charge as LINK.COM* followed by our name. Link's terms apply to the payment and are shown at checkout. We grant you the licence to use TapeLeader described below.
3. Price
The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you buy. Prices are shown on tapeleader.com/pricing.
4. Your licence
- A perpetual, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence for one person to use TapeLeader.
- You may install it on up to 3 computers that you own or use, for your own use.
- It includes every update of version 1 (1.x). A later major version may be sold separately.
- When a macOS version of TapeLeader is released, it will be free for licence holders.
- Your licence file is personal. Keep it private.
5. What you may not do
- Sell, rent, lend, share or give away TapeLeader or your licence file, or publish your licence file.
- Get around the licence check.
- Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer TapeLeader, except where the law allows it (in the EU, to achieve interoperability).
6. The free demo
The free demo does everything except export: no render, no Reaper project, no DAWproject, no report and no Rough mix export. These terms apply to it too, except what refers to the purchase.
7. Your sessions
TapeLeader doesn't modify your original files: it writes new ones. You are responsible for your sessions and your backups, and for having the rights to the audio you work on.
8. Third-party components
TapeLeader includes components by third parties under their own licences. Their licence texts are installed with TapeLeader.
9. Guarantee and liability
TapeLeader is supplied as it is, with the guarantees that the law gives consumers, which these terms don't limit. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of data or loss of profit, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. This doesn't apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
10. Refunds
See tapeleader.com/refunds. Link may also refund a purchase under its own terms. After a full refund, by us or by Link, the licence ends.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you bought applies to your purchase.
12. Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws and the courts of the country where you live.
